Meet Ziggy
Chief Morale Officer
Ziggy is Cardinal Estate Planning’s Chief Morale Officer—and a presence clients have come to know and love.
He’s a black labradoodle who originally wasn’t part of the plan, but quickly became Nick’s best friend. When Ziggy first came home, Nick and his wife weren’t sure what to do with him during the workday, so Ziggy began coming to the office. He’s been part of Cardinal ever since.
Ziggy is in the office on select days and always with intention—typically when Nick doesn’t have client meetings or when clients have indicated they’re comfortable with him being present. When he is here, Ziggy often keeps clients company in the conference room and has a remarkable ability to provide quiet comfort during difficult conversations, whether that involves estate planning, a nursing home crisis, or the loss of a loved one.
Friendly, calm, and exceptionally well-behaved, Ziggy has a natural way of putting people at ease. He knows it’s time for work as soon as Nick grabs his bag in the morning, and during the day he can usually be found napping on the big yellow chair in Joe’s office or watching the world go by from the window.
Ziggy may not offer legal advice, but he plays an important role in making Cardinal Estate Planning a thoughtful, welcoming, and compassionate place.
